Happy National Specially-Abled Pets Day! Today we celebrate differently-abled pets who have overcome tough odds between surviving the elements and finding homes.

Adopt a Shelter Pet Day is an occasion to remind us of the plight of shelter animals, but also allows us the chance to celebrate our adopted pets and to give back to those still waiting for homes. Want to help?

The biggest fundraiser of the year in Rhode Island starts at 6:00am on Monday, April 1st! We hope you’ll support our mission.

Jon Stewart's recent tribute to his beloved dog, Dipper, moved many to tears and reminded us how every shelter pet is worthy of a full life. Grieving a pet is extraordinarily difficult and can feel isolating. If you're going through it, know you're not alone, and you can make a difference in your pet's memory.

This year, thanks to our generous Santa Sponsors, participating businesses and other donors, we were able to provide care packages of pet supplies and gift cards to more than 20 senior citizen pet owners through West Warwick and Warwick Housing Authority, seven multi-pet families in need throughout local communities, and several other owners who have been facing hardships this year. We were also able to make deliveries to Almost Home Rescue, Exeter Animal Shelter, Pawtucket Animal Shelter, and Rhode Island Feline Rescue.

Our team will be on hand at the Dtails Grooming Salon All Species Nail Clinic this Saturday, 11/18, with Thanksgiving pawprint crafts! Book an appointment for any species of pet between 10:00am -2:00pm at DTails Grooming & Pet Boutique at 265 Putnam Pike, Smithfield, Rhode Island. Fifty percent of all proceeds will benefit Rhode Island Pet Network in supporting rescues, shelters and low-income pet owners with emergency medical bills!

Today we're starting our RI Pet Network: Spooky Season Online Book Sale! All proceeds benefit Rhode Island Pet Network.

We are pleased to team up with Run Fly Swim on a carefully curated Rhode Island Pet Network collection featuring adorable pet products and accessories for pet lovers, handmade soaps, candles, fizzy bath bombs in amazing fall scents, Rhode Island-themed wet-it cloths, and more. All sales from our collection benefit Rhode Island Pet Network in helping pets in need!

On August 19th, our team attended the Defenders of Animals’ candlelight vigil for International Homeless Animals Day. Our Executive Director, Jordan Bouclin, was honored with a Humane Heroes Award, alongside Smithfield Town Councilman and former state senator John J. Tassoni Jr.
