Thank you Holiday Drive Sponsors!

That’s a wrap on this year’s holiday drive! Thank you SO much to ALL of our incredible Santa Sponsors – because of each and every one of you, 55 Rhode Island senior citizens in need and their pets received generous holiday care packages, making this our biggest holiday drive yet! It’s always such a pleasure to chat with our Santa Sponsors and see the wonderful gifts you put together. It truly means so much to the seniors that they and their beloved fur babies receive this kindness and support for the holidays – and it makes our season to be able to do this for our community.

So much love and coordination goes into this drive. We couldn’t do it without Kelly C. and the team at West Warwick Housing Authority – which gets our largest delivery and requires a lot of work on their side! We were also pleased to be able to add some residents of Pawtucket Housing Authority this year, thanks to Kimberly there and Jen on the Vintage Pet Rescue Community Outreach team for the referrals.

Huge thank you to 401 Storage - Warwick who donates storage space each year for the drive, and to this year’s participating businesses and drop-off locations Shoreham Bank, PetMedic Urgent Care Vet Clinic - Warwick, WaveFCU, Hampton Inn North Attleboro and Homes2Suites Franklin, and Sonya’s Clothing. Also, thank you to the ServiceMaster By Mason team and Frisco's Fund for being Santa Sponsors again. And a special shoutout to Mackenzie S. on the Hampton Inn team who goes above and beyond to make sure every pet on our list gets a sponsor and helps us with deliveries! It was also wonderful to see what social influencer Charissa Champagne did on her channels this year to raise awareness for the drive.

In addition to our Santa Sponsors for seniors, we were able to donate items to West Warwick Animal Shelter, Rhode Island Feline Rescue and make smaller donations to some other rescue organizations. We appreciate everyone who donated an item to brighten a shelter pets holiday while they wait for a forever home.

We’d also like to express our gratitude for the new volunteers who helped us out with sorting and deliveries – Catherine, Michelle, Marilynn and Natasha!

Thank you to everyone who participated and Happy Holidays!
